Jess: [Norm has just said something his buddies consider ludicrous] Would you give me a break, Norm?

One of my favorite episodes

Four teenagers Jesse (Jason Marsen), Aaron (Aaron Eisenberg), Josh (Jonathan Ke Quan) and Norm (Scott Fults) sneak into a morgue to film a movie. Yet they discover that the mortician (John Glover) is part of a conspiracy where a doctor has been poisoning some people to collabrate with the morticial to increase the weekly amount of funerals and they split the profits of the expensive burial services. Yet when one of the boy's dead kicks the bucket, they have their video camera to film the evidence for the authorities.

An excellent episode that has vibes of The Goonies/Stand by Me where the actors like James Marsten whom you know as Max from Goofy movies were quite excellent even the boy who played Data from Goonies/Shortround from Indiana Jones as Josh. I love some of the Richard Donner references like Goonies whom he directed that movie yet produced this show even directed some episodes to Lethal Weapon poster even a Joel Silver reference to Predator. This one has nice writing, likable characters including the teen leads and some over the top morbid humor like when the mortician is sucking organs out of a corpse with a vaccum he is eating pizza and drinking coke at the same time. Good gory make up effects too and a sense of dread with suspense makes this episode a winner.
