So throughout the episode, the killer is wearing a weird "Count Dracula" cape (as described by one of Hooker's informants/hypes). It has large round decorative clasps holding the cape in place with a chain (around the neck), and is waste-length. At the very beginning of the episode, during the initial killing, a witness nurse (an African American woman) is wearing what appears to the the SAME cape!! The director or costume designer really messed up on this, and is quite amusing.
The Porsche 928 goes off the roof of the parking garage and rolls freely on its wheels after it crashes. The car clearly had no engine or transmission in it since it was in gear when it went over the edge.
At the beginning of the episode a nurse is killed and we are told that another will likely die in 48 hours as the killings are in pairs. Midway during the episode, the killer is shown raising her weapon while approaching a nurse in the shower. The scene then fades out to a break. Later, attempts are made on two other nurses which are both stopped by Hooker who makes the arrest. No mention of the shower attack or a body being found is ever mentioned.
