Michael Douglas and Karl Malden in Time Out (1977)

Goofs

Time Out

The Streets of San Francisco

Edit

Continuity

There are several stock scenes used while Malden and Hatch are driving. At 25:48, they are driving a car that has an emblem medallion on the front grill. When they park a minute later, the car has no grill medallion.

At 34:41, they are shown driving, but it's actually the vehicle used in the first season with Malden and Douglas with their standard 191 CYW license plate.

Also, at 36:38, after picking up Sgt. Mack (Cliff Gormam) they are shown driving down a hill with a cable car passing in front of them. You can clearly see there are only two people in the car. A moment later, you can see the third person, Sgt. Mack, in the car.

No doubt, there are other stock scenes used in the episode as well.
The normal car for Stone and Robbins to be driving is the 1977 Ford Galaxie 500 with license number 907 PRR, but in addition to the 191 CYW 1971 Ford Galaxie a third stock footage chase is seen with a 1974 Ford Galaxie 500 with license letters LHC.
