Beware the Green eyed Monster.

The message behind this episode is that greed is destructive, literally. Harold gets a bit of luck on his round, and finds a valuable Meissen figurine. Harold of course gets the feeling of greed and seeks a better price then the posh antique dealer first offers.

I particularly love this episode as I'm a lover of China and porcelain, especially Meissen. I own a piece of porcelain that is wrongly stamped Meissen, so this episode has extra appeal.

Derek Nimmo is wonderful as the incredibly posh antique dealer. The huge laugh comes at the end though, where the inevitable happens.

Once again it's wonderfully bittersweet. 9/10

Harold lets his greed and cunning get the better off him. He comes across a valuable porcelain figurine which is confirmed as a genuine Meissen. The antiques dealer offers him two hundred and fifty pounds on the spot for it.

Harold reckons he could get more at an auction and decides to do just that. Trouble is both Harold and Albert try to hike up the auction bids and things go a bit awry as they are in danger of bidding against each other.

An episode which shows Harold is not always satisfied with what he has got and you wince at his desperation at the auction as other bidders drop off.
