There were two takes of the encounter between the Torino and the truck.
As Starsky chases the hit man in 'the striped tomato', he is cut off by a truck that pulls out in front of him. As he maneuvers to get around the truck, you can see that the left-side tail light is broken, and the bumper is bent, on that side. But, when we see the car again, later, the tail light is intact, and the bumper is not bent.
There were two shots of the same scene, one with the cameras to the left of the truck and the other with the cameras to the right of the truck. The first shot, was with the camera to the right of the truck, because when that appears in the pursuit of Callendar in first part of "The plague", when the Torino is approaching the truck and Starsky must dodge it, the car already has the blow on its left rear flank. Seeing well, in that shot the car does not touch the truck. When the focus shifts to a camera behind the truck, the car is in another position and with the blow already done. Starsky turns right avoiding the truck and continues to the corner where he realizes that they lost Callendar. BUT, in the second part, they show a summary of the previous chapter and the same chase appears and the encounter with the truck seen from another angle, from the right of the truck, just at the moment that Starsky dodges it but it hit in that place. The sound of the blow can be clearly heard.
The grocer tells Starsky that he can't miss the Yeager's because it's the only house within a mile. Yet when Starsky arrives you can see 2 other homes with vehicles parked outside in close proximity.
The doctor and Starsky speak directly into the mic during the press conference. Mrs. Yeager then speaks while standing, followed by Starsky doing the same in a much softer pleading voice, which the small microphone being used wouldn't be able to pick up.
At Approximately 12:10 as Starsky backs the 'Red Tomato' up the the gate of the house, Starksy turns in his seat. The camera pans over to show Starsky's view and catches a member of the crew stepping sideways at the right of the screen; too late though to get himself out of the shot.
