Starsky by himself is driving to Hutch's apartment with the police light on the roof, passenger side.
After Diana has knifed Hutch's paintings, the next night when he gets home, they are back on the floor at the same spot, intact. Even if they're new paintings, Hutch didn't have time to paint---or select---new ones.
Much has been made of Hutch reaching for his key and finding it missing from above his entrance frame, then finding his one-night stand cooking him spaghetti. However, when questioned, Diana says that she told Hutch's landlord that he was a relative and he let her in. So, the disappearing key remains a mystery.

Hutch is a cop and yet keeps his front door key above the door frame. Even after he enters his own apartment for the night, he leaves the key up there. It is unclear why.
Hutch reaches for the key to his apartment which he leaves on top of his door frame. It is missing. He hears noise and enters without so much as removing his gun from its holster. Not only that, when it is understood that Diana used the key to enter, he still questions her, and she tells him that the landlord let her in.
