Although the SGC has been using the Beta Stargate discovered in Antarctica since Small Victories (2000), the point of origin of the Alpha Stargate is clearly visible as opposed to the point of origin of the Beta Stargate that was previously seen in Solitudes (1998).
When they first enter the Russian gate room. Dr Markov checks the pulse of a soldier and declares that he is dead. She is wearing gloves for warmth when she does this. There is no way she would be able to detect a pulse through those gloves.
The Russian personnel are wearing American-style dog tags.
At one point, Carter points at the instruments inside the mini submergible and states 'Our depth stays the same but the water pressure is increasing!' A depth gauge however is nothing but a water pressure gauge with a different face, marked in units of depth. It should therefore also show increasing depth whenever water pressure rises. All they could do is look out the window and at least determine they are not sinking any further.
The character played by Marina Sirtis would never have the surname "Markov". In Russian, as in most (all?) Slavic languages, a person's surname agrees grammatically with the gender of the person, so her surname would be "Markova", not "Markov".
When the sub's bubble cracks, we see and hear breaking glass. Submarines of this type use high strength acrylic.
When the Stargate event horizon forms, the vortex wave destroys everything in its path. The water contains lifeforms so billions die every time the Stargate is opened. Yet the small amount of lifeforms in a flask of water gets the gate opened twice to return.
However these life forms merely live in the water, they are not all of it and as such can obviously move around in it, considering the ones on earth can turn into mist to go back through the gate. When the gate is opening they could just move out of the way.

O'Neill states he's never been in a been in a sub before yet in Small Victories, he made multiple trips to a Russian sub to eliminate the Replicators.
Obviously he's lying as the US and Russia keep many secrets from each other. And Dr. Markov obviously knows this, given her reaction to his statement.

The keypad at the Russian Stargate room door features an imprinted note in Russian, "vhod strogo po propuskam", meaning "entry only with passes". However, it uses the Latin letter R multiple times and G once, whereas the Russian language never uses either.
The outline map of Russia presented at the beginning of the episode has two Russian cities marked and both their names are either very much misspelled or are victims of faulty font usage: Vladivostok is written as "Vpappvostok", and Magnitogorsk is written as "Magr#togorsk" (with r being the Latin 'r' and the # being the sign of the planet Saturn).
When infested Teal'c is attempting to return through the gate he gets into a scuffle with O'Neill in the gate room. It can be seen in the background that the gate is offline since there is no event horizon visible while it should be connected to the water world.
The Russian map at the beginning of the episode has its borders incorrectly depicted. The map shows the border between Russia and China depicted as if Mongolia was part of Russia, which is obviously not the case, since Mongolia is an independent nation.
Magnitogorsk, one of the two Russian cities marked on the outline map, is in fact in western, not eastern Russia. What is marked as Magnitogorsk would more likely be Yakutsk.
Dr. Markov is wearing "rain pattern" camouflage for the parachute jump. While this pattern was used by several Warsaw Pact countries such as Poland and East Germany, it was never used in the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation.
