When O'Neill is making his "We are roughly in the middle of nowhere" speech, the sand surrounding him is covered with footprints.
There should have been a time delay when connecting to the planet with the black hole, but there wasn't.
While O'Neill and Teal'c are walking to the rings after crashing their death glider, O'Neill is talking and making jokes, and not paying any attention to his surroundings, even though they know Tanith and possibly other enemy combatants are still on the planet. Then they are ambushed at the rings while O'Neill is playing with his hat. He is supposed to be highly trained and experienced in special operations. It's unlikely he would let his guard down and be so casual about their situation.
