During Joe's first meeting with his wife Charlene at the park, he declares that O'Neill is head of the SGC. However, he then has a vision of the Battle of Antarctica, at which time Dr. Weir was running the SGC and Jack was about to go into stasis.

When Joe tells the joke about the ape in a bar, his employee Bert asks "Is it ape or gorilla, because they're completely different species?" Gorillas are one of the Great Apes, the others being orangutans, chimpanzees and humans.
When the letter carrier is delivering Joe's mail to his shop, the uniform is clearly not that of a United States Postal worker, yet the mail box outside has the USPS logo on it.
When Joe meets his wife in the park the first time, a black GMC vehicle is visible parked up. It appears to be the same one that O'Neill arrives in during the final scene in the same location.
