Continuity

When Kes offers food to Chakotay, he declines. A moment later, he's seen licking his fingers, apparently from eating what he had not taken.
When Harry and Tom are in Sandrine's pool room, Tom challenges Harry to a game of pool. The camera shows Tom starting to rack the pool balls, then pans up. His hand movements from start to finish only account for him placing 5 or 6 balls in the rack. He then removes the racking triangle and moves to the opposite end to break. The next camera cut shows all 15 balls are in place for the break.

Factual errors

When Torres and the Doctor discuss the nature of the alien material taken from the hull, their remarks are scientifically incorrect. The Doctor refers to "The nucleogenic peptide bonds." Nucleogenic doesn't really mean anything in this context but probably imply DNA or RNA; however, peptide bonds are found in proteins. Torres asks "Is it some kind of phospholipid fibre?" Which makes no sense because phospholipids are not related to DNA, RNA or protein and cannot form fibres.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

On the Bridge, Tuvok privately communicates with Ensign Kim that as a senior officer he has to set a good example for the Junior Officers. Kim is an Ensign, as junior an officer as you can get. Kim is a newly commission Ensign and would never be called a senior officer. To avoid the argument that he was thrust into that position after being transported into the Delta Quadrant, Kim took his position before that event. A 'senior officer' in Star Trek canon refers to the head of a department on a starship, and Ensign Kim is the head of Operations.

Revealing mistakes

When Voyager has situated itself in the lesion of the nebula/organism, Janeway instructs Torrest to direct the nucleonic beams fore and aft, parallel to the axis of the ship. In the next shot, the beams are coming vertically (although at a slight angle) from the upper side side of the fore and aft sections of the ship, nowhere near the fore-aft axis.

Character error

Chakotay tells Janeway that he has never shown his medicine bundle to anyone, but B'Elanna comes in, knows what it is, what they're doing and tells Janeway that Chakotay also helped her find her animal guide. Also, Chakotay left his Marquis ship seconds before it crashed into the Kazon ship so he wouldn't have had time to grab his medicine bundle and he wasn't holding it when he was transported aboard Voyager.
