Kes grabs the same handful of insects both times.
In the first scene, after entering the turbo-lift with Tom and Kes, Chakotay orders the turbo-lift to 'Deck Six'. In the very next scene, the same trio now enter the Mess Hall, which is located on 'Deck Two'.
The Doctor suggests that Kes' cravings may be due to a nutritional deficiency. That is a common belief but has long been proven false. If cravings were an indicator of nutritional deficiency, we'd all crave fruits and vegetables.
At 25 minutes and 52 seconds in, you can clearly see that Tim Russ (Tuvok) is missing his Vulcan right ear prosthesis and only has a human ear.
Kes indicates that the Elogium is her one and only chance to get pregnant. Kes further implies that she only expects one child from this pregnancy. If this is true, simple math indicates that the Ocampan species would quickly die out. This is even contradicted elsewhere in the series, where Kes speaks of an uncle, suggesting that Ocampa births are multiples, which makes much more sense.
Ocampa parents would be dead by the time their children mate.
In Projections (1995) the Dr. says he's been on Voyager for six months. Ensign Wildman should have known she was pregnant months before, but tells Captain Janeway she just confirmed it.
Kes says one of her parents should massage her feet but in their absence chooses the Doctor to perform the task. If a hologram is able to perform the ritual successfully, Kes could have just created her parents on the holodeck and had them do it.
