In the first scene, Wesley wears a standard silver delta on gold ellipse communicator. However for all remaining scenes, the communicator is a silver delta on silver ellipse. The change takes place while Commander Riker steps in to the captain's ready room. When he steps out, the communicator is changed. Wesley also wears the 'standard' communicator again briefly while he steps to the window in Ten Forward . It switches to the non-standard form when the camera cuts to a closer shot.
The ships computer erroneously refers to Shuttlebay 2 as "Docking Bay 3" after the shuttle craft from the USS Repulse exits the Enterprise.
When the glowing life force leaves Deanna's hands and flies out of the ship, her eyes do not follow it but instead she continues to look at her hands.
While Captain Picard is on his way to 10-Forward seeking out Doctor Pulaski, he engages Wesley Crusher in a conversation. Once the conversation is over, we see Picard leaving and walking past us. However, there is a brief moment when the captain's right side comes back into the left of the frame, even though he has walked past us and down the corridor (as evidenced by Wesley watching the Captain walking past us).
Data says that the energy transference was aft, outboard of the port nacelle. Actually the "child" entered the ship near where the star-drive section of the ship joins the saucer section.
Pulaski describes the fetus as identical to Troi "in every way", yet, if that were truly the case, it would be female instead of male, assuming that the chromosomal basis of sex determination is the same in Betazoids (or human-Betazoid hybrids) as it is in humans.
When the smaller ship is leaving the shuttle bay, the crew are out in the open, apparently with nothing to protect themselves from the vacuum of space. However, there is a force field at the shuttle bay opening depicted by the blue light around it, which keeps atmosphere in while allowing ships to pass.
When one of the plasma specimen begins to grow, there is a great deal of hand-wringing about what to do. Riker does suggest jettisoning the module, but Hester Dealt explains that it would remain harmful and endanger any ship or planet it comes into contact with.
(at around 15 mins) Data is on his way to see Dr Pulaski. When he steps out of the turbo lift, he turns right and runs into Deanna who asks him to help her to sickbay. In helping Deanna to sickbay, they head in the opposite direction that Data was heading when he exited the turbo lift.
The display read aloud by Dr Pulaski doesn't match the information she imparts (e.g., there is no mention about Eichner radiation).
When transporting the specimens into the containment units in Cargo Bay 5 (O'Brien called it Cargo Deck 5), Geordi tells Transporter Room 3 that they were ready to proceed. The cargo bays have their own transporters which were seen in Datalore (1988) and 11001001 (1988).
Cargo bays are equipped with transporters, yet for some reason Data goes to one of the dedicated transporter rooms, usually used for transporting personnel, to oversee the transport of the specimens to the cargo bay, rather than simply using the cargo bay's own transporter.
It seems to be late evening when the story begins, as evidenced by Troi being in bed and Picard stating that he'll relieve Riker at 03:00, yet the entire alpha shift (Picard, Riker, Data, La forge, Worf, Crusher) is on duty. If it is indeed late evening/early morning, gamma shift should be on duty.
Deanna is impregnated by an unknown alien with unknown intentions. It could be a form of infection for all they know and is certainly not behaving like a normal pregnancy. The Enterprise on a very urgent mission with delicate and dangerous cargo. She should have been separated from the ship in some manner, even if just in a shuttlecraft.
When the organism starts to grow and everyone is worried about it breaking out of it's containment, Riker says jettison, the doctor says it'll just go into a spore and will be protected until it's environment is favorable.
This "spore" would have a problem if they jettisoned it into, say, a STAR, there are plenty of those around.

On the computer screen which continues the history of the mysteriously mutating virus, the word "growth" is erroneously repeated. ("...with growth GROWTH proceeding exponentially.")
On the computer screen detailing the history of the mysteriously mutating virus, the word "northern" (in the sentence "Outbreak of plasma plague reported in isolated sections of NORHTERN continent") is misspelled.
Geordi describes the temperature of the storage device as 97 degrees Kelvin. Kelvin, as a scale, does not use degrees as it is an absolute value, not an arbitrary value. Geordi, as a science-trained officer should know the definition and nomenclature.
Asked about her past, Guinan makes a false statement.
Wesley: "People say you're very old."
Guinan: "Oh?"
Wesley: "And that you knew Captain Picard when he was on the Stargazer."
Guinan: "No, I never knew the Captain till I came on board (Enterprise)."
Guinan's statement is not completely accurate. She and Picard met once before, as depicted in Time's Arrow (1992)/Time's Arrow, Part II (1992). The two episodes mentioned are from season 5, so Guinan didn't really make a false statement. Writers just made a change in her history between season 2 and season 5.
Moreover, she only met him, briefly, in the 19th century ('Time's Arrow') and didn't really 'know' him until much later.
When the alien life form first enters the ship, it encounters 2 male crew members. Neither crew member has pips on his uniform. As they are wearing Starfleet uniforms even non-ranked crew members have some form of rank aboard the ship.
