Worf says it will take 12 hours for the Defiant to reach the area where the Honshu was destroyed. The Honshu was said to have been 2 days into its trip transporting Dukat from Bajor. While a Defiant-class ship does have a slightly higher maximum warp than a Nebula-class ship, it's not 4x faster.
The corridors of the USS Honshu are reused from the regular sets of the Defiant. The issue is that the Defiant's corridors were intentionally made much tighter and more cramped than a standard Starfleet ship to represent the small, spartan nature of the ship. A Nebula-class ship like the Honshu should have corridors more akin to the Galaxy-class Enterprise, as they utilize many identical components. Even the diminutive Intrepid-class ship from Voyager has much more spacious interiors.
Just as Sisko finishes turning the transmitter back on, and just before Gul Dukat walks in, as Sisko lies down, you can see a sleeve of a crew member at the left of the screen appear quickly.
At about marker 21:44, after Cisco configures the power cell to transmit a distress signal, a crew member's hand and arm is visible on the left side of the screen before he has a chance to lay down next to the fire. Dukat hasn't yet entered the cave, so it can't be him.
