Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Edit

Continuity

Constable Odo is interrogating the Flaxian. There are three bottles of perfume on the table. In one shot, Odo has an eye dropper from one of the bottles in his hand. In the next shot, the eye dropper is back in the bottle. In the third shot, Odo has the eyedropper in his hand again.

Plot holes

In the cavern Odo is told not to turn around as the Cardassian does not want to be identified. Since Odo is a liquid shapshifter his eyes are approximations not real so he can actually see in any direction so not turning around is pointless.

Character error

Garak describes the fleeing Flaxian assassin as Odo's "only witness", when in fact there were many witnesses to the explosion - it is likely he meant that the Flaxian was Odo's only suspect.
While discussing the dining experience with Bashir, Garak misidentifies a Kobheerian for a Talarian. This was not the last time such an error would be made, as Sisko would later misidentify a Markalian as a Tarkalean in "Time's Orphan".
