- Zoe is caught in the middle of a siege on the Turkish embassy, while Tessa is stunned and confused when she sees a man from her past.
- Zoe is undercover on a routine op, pretending to be a PR agent hoping to land a contract with the Turkish government. She winds up a hostage - along with dozens of others - when a group of Kurds take over the Turkish embassy and demand the release of political prisoners. However, the team pieces together that this is just a cover, as a disgruntled former spook is using kidnapping and terrorism to gain access to a secret bank account - one with millions of pounds... and the personal identities of every undercover officer.—Anonymous
- Gunmen storm the Turkish Consulate and hold several people, including many senior Turkish diplomats, hostage. Among the hostages is Zoe who is working undercover to infiltrate the Consulate. The gunmen are largely Kurds who want to gain some leverage over the Turkish government. However part of the group consists of ex-military Britons who have something very different in mind.—grantss
- With Zoe working undercover as a public relations specialist, she finds herself attending a reception at the Turkish Consulate when it's taken over by Kurdish terrorists. They want friends and family released from prison or they threaten to kill all of the hostages. MI-5 is surprised to learn that the terrorists are being helped by Johnny Marks, a freelancer once used by the Security Service but thought to have been killed in Northern Ireland 15 years before. Marks was disliked by many as being mainly concerned for his own well-being but he and Tessa Phillips were lovers at one time. True to form, he has his own agenda and is using the attack on the Consulate as a diversion for his own operation.—garykmcd
