- The Vulture takes Spider-Man's youth to become young again, but he also absorbs the mutating DNA of Man-Spider. The Scorpion also returns, desperate to become normal again.
- The Vulture has absorbed Spider-Man's youth and powers, but he ends up with Spider-Man's mutated DNA. Spider-Man has turned into an old man and he is unable to perform any heroics. Spider-Man calls Dr. Connors about his predicament and he agrees to help Spider-Man get his youth and powers back from a mutated Vulture. At a mental hospital, Farley Stillwell has been having nightmares of creating the Scorpion and he becomes even more paranoid that the Scorpion will capture him. The Scorpion abducts Stillwell and he takes him to the neogenics lab. Spider-Man arrives at the lab to get Dr. Connors to cure him, but he gets taken down by Scorpion. Dr. Connors reconfigures Vulture's talons, Spider-Man gets his youth and powers back, but Vulture is stuck with the mutated DNA. Farley proceeds to blow up the lab to prevent anymore neogenic experiments. Connors tries to stop Farley, but he becomes the Lizard again. During the ensuing fight, Farley manages to escape the lab and the Lizard soon changes back to his human form. Spider-Man gets Connors to safety, but he is unable to cure himself from his Lizard persona. Farley leaves New York and he goes into hiding. Peter becomes relieved that Connors has freed him of his mutation disease and he goes off to meet Mary Jane, but he discovers that Mary Jane has been captured by an unknown man.—dawsonpersi
