In the teaser Koenig and Victor compare the machine's propulsion to bees which shouldn't be able to fly. This is a common misconception based on a misunderstanding of how their wings work and science has now fully explained the physics behind their flight which involves rapid wing movement creating lift.
In appearance, Gwent doesn't violate "space propulsion" laws. Its ship possesses a symmetrical shape and rockets behind.
During the conversation at the table, when Gwent prints out a 'list' of requirements, it is quite obviously the printout of a 70's wiring diagram and some tables. Moreover, Koenig rips it from the printer slot somewhere in the middle of a diagram.
When Companion presumably dies, Helena tells Gwent that Companion is dead. She doesn't check his pulse or breathing, which wouldn't matter anyway because Companion is an alien and she's not an exobiologist.
No sensors known to science would be able to detect a non-living body inside a non-living coffin.
