South Park (1997)

Goofs

Chef Aid

South Park

Edit

Continuity

It is never clear about the actual time when "Stinky Britches" was written. Chef tells the boys back at school twenty years ago. Chef tells Mr. Big Record Producer several years ago. Gerald tells the first jury more than twenty years ago. Johnny Cochran tells the first jury ten years ago.
Mr Garrison breaks out of jail wearing only a towel. When he arrives at Chef Aid, he'd fully dressed in his regular clothes. When he has his moment of epiphany with Mr. Twig and Mr. Hat, he's back in the towel.
Mr. Garrison is arrested barefoot and escapes from jail that way. But before he stands up to escape, he has shoes on. Then he stands and is barefoot again.
All the doctors' name tags are blank, even Dr. Doctor's. But his tag has lettering again when Mr. Garrison is arrested.
The row of hearts around Mr. Garrison's brief's waistband are there for a second or two, then are gone, then are back on the waistband when Mr. Garrison takes the wheel.

Factual errors

Chewbacca does not live on the forest moon of Endor, as Johnny Cochran claims. He did spend some there during Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), but it's not his permanent residence.
In both trials, Johnny Cochran should not have used any kind of defense when he is the prosecuting attorney. Also, jurors from the first trial should not have wound up as jurors in the second one.
At 1:39, the word "broccoli" is misspelled on the school lunch menu. It says "brocolli."

Plot holes

In a news report, drawings of a trial are used when the trial itself is not televised. If the trial is televised, stills of the trial, if not actual clips, are used.
