When Tony and Gloria are having a fight at her place, Gloria throws the dish with the steak at the table and breaks it into pieces. In the next scene, before she throws the steak at Tony's head, you can see that the dish is in one piece again.
When Chris and Paulie are chasing the Russian in the woods, the sun's shadows change direction by 90 degrees. At first, they are running perpendicular to the shadows. The next shot, during the same scene, they are running parallel to them.
Paulie is seen pumping his own gas before he and Chris ride down to the Pine Barrens. Although self-service at gas stations is illegal in New Jersey, this is another example of their disregard for the law and authority.
After Chris and Paulie leave the van when the sun comes up, Paulie gets his foot without a shoe caught in the snow. You can clearly see he is wearing a white-colored boot or shoe even though his foot is supposed to be covered by gray carpet from the van.
The action is supposed to take place in the New Jersey Pine Barrens of South Jersey. However, the actual location where the scenes were shot was at Harriman State Park located in upstate New York. The Jersey Pine Barrens are a relatively flat wooded area. Harriman State Park, however, is a hilly area with some woods and some open pasture-like meadows, which is what is seen.
