When Pete questions Clark about going through Chloes files. Clark says: "I'm worried about her." But his lips do not move when saying the quote.
Chloe's ability doesn't work on Clark, however Chloe's power works by her expelling tiny particles of kryptonite so it's entirely plausible that it would work on Clark.
