An immigration officer crouches down to check on a shooting victim twice in subsequent shots, right before the sliders leave from Nueva Espana.
Just before Quinn activates the timer on the first world, the blue light from the vortex silently falls upon the two guards. One guard even takes his gun out of the holster in apparent reaction to the vortex, which starts to appear a moment afterwards.
The bus carrying the "furbacks" to the Canadian border says "IMMIGRACION", but the word in Spanish is "INMIGRACIÓN"
When the Professor throws Quinn the quarter for the newspaper machine, Quinn goes to catch it but accidentally hits it away instead. As he "puts the quarter into the machine" you can see the actual quarter bounce on the ground behind him.
The opening scene is supposed to take place is San Francisco, California but the wide shots of the building the characters are in front of reveal the sign "Vancouver Ice and Cold Storage." The first two seasons were filmed in and around Vancouver, Canada.
The newspaper article Quinn reads about Daelin contains a couple of paragraphs repeated several times.
The clock in the courtroom that Quinn points out is supposed to indicate that time is moving in reverse. The clock face has been reversed from clockwise to counterclockwise, but because the hands are also moving counterclockwise the clock is still counting time forward, not backwards.
On the first world, Quinn mentions he has to find his friends before 10:23, in order for them to make the slide. Elsewhere, Rembrandt says they were woken at 5 a.m. and Wade says they slide in less than two hours. The two deadlines don't match up.
The bailiff introduces the judge as Ramon Estevez, but the plaque on the bench reads 'HON J. ESTEVEZ'.
