The rocket changes between a Saturn 1-B & a Saturn V. Also the capsule is shown attached to both rockets while it is still in the hangar.
There is a huge gray spherical bounder that is perched at the top of the hillside, just above the logs and the other smaller rocks. When the alien boy makes these objects tumble down the hillside by knocking into them with the odd-shaped boulder that falls off the cliff, the huge rounded boulder is gone.
The same boulder falls from the cliff in the two separate "falling boulder" scenes. The bottom of the boulder also has a distinctive dark elongated "dash" mark, surrounded by white, showing that it's man-made.
The area where the aliens are holed-up in the cave is implied to be undisturbed woodland, yet there are chain-sawed smooth-cut ends on the logs that tumble down the hillside.
Once the rocket is on the pad it is no longer possible to attach the capsule.
The huge rounded bounder that is perched at the top of the hillside among the logs has a dark-colored carrying-handle fastened onto the top.
Steve Austin only has one bionic arm, his right. When he pulls away part of an electrified fence, he naturally uses his bionic arm. But just before he slips through the opening, Steve uses his human, non-bionic arm to hold the fence, which is still electrified.
