The Six Million Dollar Man (1974)

Goofs

Death Probe: Part 1

The Six Million Dollar Man

Edit

Factual errors

The barbed-wire fence would not have a wooden board at the top, since this would largely block the barbed wire and render it less effective for deterring anything wanting to climb/jump over.

Revealing mistakes

The probe is supposedly electrically powered so that it can operate in an airless space environment, yet visible exhaust vapor can be seen coming from the back of the machine on more than one occasion.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When the farmer shoots the second barrel of the shotgun, and then a moment later when the gun strikes the front of the probe, there are no audible sound effects other than the constant whooshing roar of the probe's engine.

Crew or equipment visible

Near the beginning of the episode when Death Probe is examining the farmer's gun you can see the fingertips of someone turning Death Probe's grappling arm.

Character error

Daryl would have no way of initially knowing who was calling his studio, yet he stops in mid-sentence and looks surprised even before the agent on the other end of the line says the code words, "Have you looked at the sky lately?"
