- A new film based on the comic book character Radioactive Man is put into production, and Springfield is chosen as the filming site.
An avid fan of the comic book, Bart is hopeful that he can be cast as Radioactive Man's sidekick, Fallout Boy. However, he is considered to be too short for the part, and it is Milhouse who ends up winning the coveted role.
However, Milhouse soon grows exasperated and despondent in regards to his role. Eventually, he runs away, and retreats to Bart's treehouse.
Bart finds him there, where Milhouse claims that filmmaking is hollow and unsatisfying. Shortly thereafter, Mickey Rooney is recruited to try and convince Milhouse to come back to the production, but he still refuses.
Without Milhouse, and with the City of Springfield sucking the production dry of their money through taxes and fees, the film is cancelled, and the filmmakers return to Hollywood.
