Selma decides to adopt a child, so the whole family goes to China.
A broody Selma is keen to adopt a child and, on Lisa's advice tries to adopt one from China. However the rules say that she is supposed to be married so she gets Homer to pose as her husband for the fearsome adoption agent Madame Wu. Selma gets her child whom she calls Ling and,although the deception is discovered, Madame Wu lets her keep Ling as she was herself brought up by a single mother.—don @ minifie-1
Selma wants to have a child so badly, so the Simpson's family, along with Selma, go to China. But, Selma needs Homer to pretend to be her husband and also, when Madame Wu, an adoption agent, finds out that Selma's not married, she tries her hardest to take Ling (the child) out of her hands.
