Charlotte's wedding planning panic is easily solved when Sam refers her to gay stylist Anthony Marantino, 'the Italian mother she never had'. Paranoid Miranda worries about a 'scary' man in a restaurant's sandwich-suit saying "eat me" in a 'woman-unfriendly way'.—KGF Vissers

Carrie doesn't want to lie to Aidan, but she continues to have a sex fest with Big. They pick hotels on obscure streets where they don't know anybody and have the least chances of being recognized. Miranda tries to get Carrie to end her affair after she confides in Miranda that she is sleeping with Big. Carrie knows that she has not thought about Aidan and if she found out, she would be mortified. Miranda says that Big only wants Carrie as he cannot have her right then. Carrie says that she wants everyone to get out of this mess without getting hurt.

In her confusion, Carrie starts pushing Aidan back, she has less time for him and even refuses him sex. Aidan is far too nice to Carrie and gives her as much space as she wants.

Carrie is humiliated when at their regular sex hotel, a Japanese businessman thinks Carrie is a hooker (as he sees her come there so often). As she runs out of the hotel, Charlotte sees her and finds that Carrie has been having an affair with Big. Charlotte is mortified since she is herself getting married and asks Carrie how she would feel if someone did this to Charlotte.

Carrie continues her affair with Big, even after Charlotte finds out. Big wants to divorce Natasha but says that Carrie is still in love with Aidan and hence doesn't want her to say anything to Natasha. Big says that he is ready to call Natasha but wants Carrie to stand with him once he makes the phone call. Carrie meekly says that she needs more time to decide. That day, they were having sex at Big's house since Carrie did not want to go back to the hotel. Big left and Natasha came home early as she was supposed to be in the Hamptons enjoying the sun. Natasha finds Carrie inside, just before she tries to run away. Natasha follows her and falls, breaking her front tooth. Carrie takes her to the hospital. Natasha loses a tooth and gets a stitch in the upper lip.

Charlotte hires stylist Anthony Marantino (Mario Cantone) to help her find the perfect wedding dress. She was driving Samantha crazy about the gown choices, and she suggests that Charlotte hire a stylist. Anthony is very pushy, which Charlotte could never be with the salespeople, and helps Charlotte find a perfect dress quickly.

Samantha meets the "male version of herself" Tom Reymi (Sam Robards), but he refuses to sleep with her because she hasn't had an HIV test. Tom is a Manhattan legend, straight, single and sexually very active. Tom says that he can't enjoy Samantha the way he wants to enjoy her, till he knows it's safe. He says he is worth it. Samantha admits to her girls that she is terrified of the test and doesn't know what to do if she has it. Samantha visits the doctor and responds yes to every sexual activity question posed to her. She could not tell the doctor how many sexual partners she had even that year, let alone in lifetime. As the results come on, she fears the worst and faints! But the tests were negative. Samantha enjoys safe sex with Tom.
