Since Steve's testicular amputation, balls are a sensitive subject; he even wants a prosthesis, however supportive Miranda insists they don't matter to women. Now his movie star- girlfriend has dumped him, Carrie must receive heart-broken Mr. Big at pissed-off Aidan's cabin.—KGF Vissers

Big is in trouble with Willow and needs to speak to Carrie. Aidan doesn't like that as this is interfering with their relationship. Big is irritated that Willow can reach him anytime she wants, but he cannot reach her ever. Aidan is irritated that Big is a constant feature between him and Carrie. Carrie can understand that Aidan is threatened by Big and wants to show that Aidan has nothing to worry about.

Carrie's idea is to bring Aidan and Big together for a meeting, so Aidan can see once and for all that Big is just a friend to her. All the girls are against this plan. Big calls again to tell Carrie that Willow broke it off. He is miserable and Carrie is with Aidan at his country house.

Carrie invites Big up to Aidan's country home to talk. Aidan is not happy at all, but Carrie assures him that Big will only stay briefly and then return to the city. Big is a mess and 2 bottles of wine later, can't even walk straight. He has to spend the night at Aidan's. Aidan gives him the couch.

The next morning Carrie tells Big to make friends with Aidan. But Aidan and Big end up fighting in the mud instead. They end up talking after that, cutting Carrie out of the conversation.

Charlotte tries to discuss her and Trey's infertility problems. They haven't gotten pregnant in 3 months and Charlotte suggests that Trey gets tested for his sperm. Trey doesn't like this as Charlotte assumed he is the problem. Charlotte says that it is just easy for the man to get tested first as it is less invasive. Trey goes to give his sperm sample but cannot get an erection. Charlotte has to get in with Trey and get him sexually stimulated, to get an ejaculation. Turns out, Trey's sperm was fine.

Steve is conscious that he has a single testicle (after he has one of his testicles removed due to testicular cancer) and wants to get a testicle implant. Miranda explains that women don't care about testicles, but Steve won't listen. Steve says that he looks lopsided. Steve and Miranda attend a doctor's appointment where Steve looks at the prosthetic. The prosthetic is not fully approved yet and is in clinical trial stage and Miranda asks Steve to back away. Steve is insecure that nobody would like to have sex with a one-ball bartender. Miranda sleeps with Steve to cheer him up.

Samantha learns from her ex-lover Allan Jannis (Jack Gwaltney) that Richard Wright is launching a new hotel. Allan is the architect on the project. Samantha tries to get the PR position for hotelier Richard Wright (James Remar). Richard wants Samantha to split the job with Brad Rosen, another PR guy he is speaking to. Richard has 5 hotels and says that it's a big job and easy for Brad and Samantha to divide among themselves. But Samantha wants the gig for herself. Samantha proves that she is the best person for the job, but Richard still won't hire her as she slept with his architect, and he doesn't want that legal liability on his books. Samantha leaves enraged and said if she was a man, Richard would hire her. Richard hires her the next day.
