Synopsis

  • Carrie feels guilty and wants to quit her affair with Big. She tells Samantha about her sex fest with Big. Carrie has cheated on Aidan, by sleeping with Big. Samantha says that Carrie has done nothing that men have not been doing to women for centuries already. Samantha says that Carrie is a free agent till Aidan says "I Love You" to her. Carrie is happy with Aidan, and she has everything she needs from a relationship. But when he is out of town (Aidan had to go for a 2-day trip to Pennsylvania to deliver a chair to a customer himself), she sleeps with Big again. Aidan comes back and says "I Love You" to Carrie. Meanwhile Big is ready to dump Natasha and go steady with Carrie. Carrie has never been more lost. Carrie had gone to see Big with the excuse of walking Aidan's dog and now the dog was also missing. Carrie returned home late at night and finds that the dog made it back to the apartment all by itself. Carrie tells Aidan that she is smoking again.

Miranda enjoys phone sex with a co-worker George (Josh Hamilton) from Chicago. George and Miranda sleep together one time when he is in New York and then they start having phone sex, when he is back in Chicago. Turns out George was having phone sex with other people as well.

Trey gives Charlotte a prenuptial saying that its standard and everyone in the family has one. Charlotte engaged Miranda as her lawyer to look over the contract. She is livid that she and Trey and not even married yet and already Bunny is rooting for their divorce. Miranda says that prenups are needed as 50% of marriages end in divorce. It is a real statistic. Miranda says that Charlotte will on a vesting schedule for $500K over 30 years, and every boy she bears will get her $100K more, free and clear. Nothing for the girls. Miranda advises her to negotiate with Bunny. Trey says that Bunny will not negotiate, but Miranda tells Charlotte not to back off. Trey refuses to intervene. Carrie tells Charlotte that she will have to decide what is right for her. Charlotte negotiates the terms of her prenuptial agreement with Trey's mother, Bunny. She says she is worth a million.

Samantha celebrates her move to the new apartment in the exclusive Meatpacking District (a fabulous new apartment, 3 new clients and a delivery service in her area). Samantha says that she has it all, but Charlotte believes that having it all means also having someone to share the happiness with. Samantha says that at her age, her own mother was saddled with 3 kids and a drunk husband.

Samantha's bout of the 'flu gives her a pessimistic outlook on life. She has no man in her life that she can call upon to take care of her. All the men she knows only want sex from her and are afraid to come near her when they realize that she has the flu. For someone who had it all, Samantha was never more alone. Eventually, Carrie has to go over and take care of Samantha. Samantha admits that no matter how much you have, if you don't have a guy to take care of you, it doesn't mean much. Samantha had turned into Charlotte.
