The Face Painter

Edit

Continuity

In this episode George (Jason Alexander) claims he's only ever said "I love you" to a dog, but back in episode 2.1, The Ex-Girlfriend (1991), he tells Jerry he had no choice but to tell his girlfriend (Marlene, played by Tracy Kolis) he loved her.

Factual errors

When everyone goes to the first hockey game, the marquee out front shows you that the game is being played at Madison Square Garden. When New Jersey scores, Puddy is celebrating by banging on the glass, and you can hear the siren in the background. The siren would not be played if the visiting team (New Jersey) scored a goal at Madison Square Garden (New York). The siren would only be used if the home team (in this case the Rangers) scored.
After the hockey game, Kramer states that 'there is still 3 games left' in the series, meaning that was Game #4 they just watched. They manage to get tickets to the next game, however, Game #5 would have moved to New Jersey, as the NHL runs a 2-2-1-1-1 playoff system.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

The game is at Madison Square Garden and shows the Rangers are wearing their white jerseys. Currently NHL teams wear colored jerseys at home; however in the 1990s NHL teams would wear white at home.

Miscellaneous

In the opening scene, George is explaining to his girlfriend how toilet paper has not made any advancements in his lifetime and predicts that it will remain the same for the next 10,000 years.

However, when George later enters Jerry's apartment to tell him about this, he exaggerates his original predication by instead saying that toilet paper will remain the same for the next 50,000 years.

Character error

David Puddy says he's been a Devils fan since he was a kid, but he's too old to make this claim because the franchise was established as the Kansas City Scouts in 1974. The franchise relocated to Denver in 1976 and was known as the Colorado Rockies, before relocating to New Jersey in 1982 and becoming the Devils. Puddy would have had to support both the Scouts and Rockies incarnations of the franchise for his claim to be valid.
Kramer (Michael Richards) states that "there are still 3 games left in the series". In a best of 7 series there's no way to know how many games remain except 1 when it's 3-3.
