Goofs

The Cheever Letters

Seinfeld

Edit

Continuity

When George (Jason Alexander) informs Susan's father about the burned cabin, he mentions the cigars and the irony of it all. But Susan's father has not been told that the cigars are the cause of the fire.
At the beginning, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) & George (Jason Alexander) grab notebooks to write their script. Jerry takes a pink one, while George grabs a blue one. After George sits down however, he has the pink book.
When Jerry tells George about his girlfriend Sandra's dirty talking, the ketchup bottle is sitting on the table. In the next cut, it's automatically in George's hand.

Factual errors

Kramer (Michael Richards) claims the cigars he had were made especially for Fidel Castro, but Castro only smoked Trinidad Fundadors, which are a much skinnier cigar than the one shown.

Revealing mistakes

When George (Jason Alexander), Susan (Heidi Swedberg) and her parents are having dinner, the clock on the mantle reads 8:20pm throughout the entire meal.

Character error

George calls the Cheever book he is reading "The Falconer"; the title is actually just "Falconer." It is named after the New York prison (near Jamestown) where the main character is incarcerated.
