It Works Pretty Well
Hitchcoc15 July 2013
The story is pretty basic. A baby mammoth has been found frozen in the ice in the far North. It is transported to a research facility, where the body is slowly thawed in a state-of- the-art, temperature controlled room. You guessed it. The thing is half a million years old but comes back to life. This is amazing enough. During this time, the little guy begins to make sad, lonely noises. To counteract this, the female scientist begins to bond with the mammoth. As he grows, he needs to be brought to a compound. What do they do? They stick him in a little U-Haul trailer, along with the lady scientist. Of course, all he has to do is shift his bulk and the thing jackknifes. Now, here is the major find of the century, a living prehistoric beast, and no one thinks to put him in a really secure transport (can you say "Truck?") There's more but it would qualify as a spoiler. Suffice it to say, once again the story is so full of holes as to be laughable.
