Tom Helmore is a Scotland Yard investigator involved in the investigation of the murder of a model, only find out through various witnesses was not very nice. The only clue is an obscure cigarette package, obviously found at the scene of the crime, and seen in the hand of one of the suspects whom they interview and dismiss. One man in particular seems to be possibly the guilty party, running from the police when they go to see his father who pretends that he's not home. He admits to having assaulted her but she was alive when he ran away from her, and Helmore believes. But all that does is add more questions and create more confusion with their main suspect dismissed, and other suspects unknown. A unique episode of an American anthology series that seems like it was made for British television, filled with some unique London locations and very similar to the type of films that were being done in England at the time. A great example of TV noir, intriguing for its realistic way of telling a story and using locations to take the audience there.
