Features the sixth and final original Short Film by Albert Brooks ("The Impossible Truth" was played twice). Producer Lorne Michaels chose not to order new films and the Brooks segment was dropped. Brooks reportedly felt he did not receive sufficient credit for the success of the show. Michaels complained that Brooks' films were too long. In a 2011 SNL Backstage interview, Michaels said he requested three-minute films, which Brooks interpreted as five minutes, though the first film Brooks submitted, "Heart Surgery," spanned a whopping 13 minutes. Brooks described his tenure as an SNL pioneer thusly: "I sort of felt that I was a sort of, you know, the first stage of the rocket that went to the moon. I provided a service. I helped to get them off the ground. And about two miles up I was thrown into the ocean."
