"Greatest Show in Watts" opens with Sanford Arms tenant Dan (Rozelle Gayle) lamenting he hasn't got the rent, leaving behind some collateral from his now bankrupt circus, an elephant named Missy. Fred decides to foil the city ordinance about non domestic animals by building his own circus using 'Elephant's Gerald' as the main attraction. He wants Lamont to be the tightrope walker, Bubba the clown, Aunt Esther working on behalf of her church, allowing La Wanda Page to recreate her lifelong stage act as 'The Bronze Goddess of Fire,' eating flames and using her fingertips to light cigarettes. Bubba's performance leaves the audience ringing wet! Lamont comes out as muscleman Strongo: "faster than a speeding junk truck, more powerful than Roto-Rooter, able to leap tall women in a single bound!"
