Baretta Wouldn't Shoot A Man In The Back
hogwrassler23 November 2020
Rancher Caldwell has his henchmen stealing Indian horses. Morrison, the town blacksmith has figured out that Caldwell is behind the stealing and wants to be cut in. Instead, Caldwell shoots Morrison in the back and blames young Indian Charlie, played by Robert Blake. Roy had gotten Charlie a job as an apprentice for Morrison and believes in his innocence. Charlie runs away to his father's house on the reservation. Sheriff Roy convinces Charlie to turn himself in. Meanwhile, a stranger named Hudson says he witnessed Charlie shoot Morrison. A lynch mob takes Charlie out of jail and it looks likes curtains for Baretta, uh Charlie. It's going to take a Perry Mason-like piece of deduction for Roy to save the day. Robert Blake is really effective and convincing in his role as Charlie.
