Last of the "normal" Roseanne Halloween episodes...

... at least normal for Roseanne! Dan and Jackie's titular husband, Fred, convince Roseanne that Fred is hiding his true sexual orientation when all of the guests at Leon's Halloween party at "The Lunch Box" seem to know Fred a little too well.

There are also some hilarious scenes with Jackie speculating that her mother wears a wig and may be bald. This leads her to the conclusion that she may go bald as she ages too. Jackie then puts on the wig and begins doing an imitation of her mother, even getting the voice down pat: "Oh Roseanne! Roseanne, a woman your size should not wear horizontal stripes, you should wear black! Or stay at home!". For some reason, this particular episode isn't aired much in syndication, not even during the Roseanne Halloween episode marathons.

It is Halloween and Leon throws a party with a lot of gay people. Fed seems a bit uncomfortable but then Roseanne sees that he knows a lot of gay men there. When asking one of them she finds out that Fred is gay. She goes to tell Becky about it but turns out that this is a prank. Bev also makes a prank on Roseanne with her hair.

I loved Leon's costume! So close after 2016 elections it was great to see a reference to Hillary Clinton from the 90's. I love that woman, she is amazing.

And the whole prank of Fred being gay was great they even managed to fool me, until the great scene of him and Dan being "caught" in bed. Bev's prank was also hilarious. I also loved the scene of Jackie putting on the wig and impersonate Bev, absolutely hilarious.

So so Halloween episode should have been funnier

A so so episode of Halloween and the funniest part was at the beginning of Roseanne and Jackie at the hair salon and the part were Jackie put on the wig was funny and the cut that part on tv now not to offend people like Really? The party scene to me was boring reminded me of going to a gay bar in Youngstown Ohio how dull it was and not amusing...the joke was kinda dumb and really corny but at the end was funny when Roseanne blew up the house but I think she should have done that at the end of the series instead.. I don't remember crystal at the party or Bonnie or Ann Marie.. which were halirous characters.
