James Garner in The Rockford Files (1974)

Goofs

The Prisoner of Rosemont Hall

The Rockford Files

Edit

Continuity

When Kilmore is on his car radio calling for backup before he confronts Rockford and Callahan in Rosemont Hall, he holds the microphone in front of his mouth during long shots but down near his chin during close-ups.

Revealing mistakes

When Rockford is at Paul Douglas' apartment off campus he is parked beside a large tree surrounded by ivy ground cover. Later that night, when Jim is supposed to be meeting Leslie in her office in Rosemont Hall, he parks in the same place.

Miscellaneous

When Rockford calls Val Douglas' her phone is seen and the number on it is 311-555-2368, the very same number as on Rockford's own phone.

Character error

When Police Chief Max Kilmore begs for mercy from the two Middle Eastern agents, they tell him they won't harm him but will request extradition "according to the United Nations charter." Extradition procedures between countries are bound by special international treaties, not by the U.N. Charter.
