When Rockford is being followed by "Agent Stoner" in a silver 1974 Chevrolet Caprice, he gets angry and decides to back up his Firebird into the front of the big Chevy. When you see the car smashed up, it is a 1974 Impala (slightly different front end). The word "Impala" is also visible in script on the black vinyl top and the car appears to have different hubcaps.
In the cemetery where Jim poses as Agent Stoner to bluff the manager into opening the coffin, the headstones are flat to the ground for ease of mowing the grass. When he later digs up the coffin, there are several standing headstones about.
At the beginning, Rockford has two men digging into a grave. They hit the coffin (exposing only a small part of the coffin) and Rockford immediately brings out a folding rig to lift the coffin out of the grave. But as he immediately brought out the rig, he gave the men no time to clear any more dirt from on top of the coffin. Yet when Rockford finishes setting up his rig, there little dirt on top of the coffin, and dirt has been cleared from the sides of the coffin.
However, just because they didn't show the extra time cleaning the dirt doesn't mean they didn't do it; they just jumped ahead to save airtime.

After he sets up the rigging, he lifts the coffin out of the grave. The rigging and hoist are attached to rope going around and under the coffin. But Rockford only brought out his rig. He never produced any equipment that would be able to get rope under the coffin and through the compacted dirt under the coffin.
Actually, the rope doesn't go under the coffin, it simply runs around and under the side handles.

On the train, Jim is pretending to be a doctor. He's wearing glasses. He's speaking to a man, while sitting. In the close-up shots of Jim, you can't see the reflection of the man Jim is talking to, even though the man is standing right in front of him. In fact, you can see the crew's light reflected in his glasses instead.
When Jim is shown setting up his little printer for the fake business card, he's shown using small sized type, which would be used for composing text. But when he prints the card, it's a larger display type, like for a headline.

After Jim leaves the hospital he lowers the passenger side window and as it lowers the reflection of a crew member becomes visible.
At the train station the city is spelled Ashbrook (one word), but at the cemetery it's spelled Ash Brook (two words).
Elmira is a town of less than 1,000 population and is located in Northern California.
When Rockford is coming to in the hospital, the doctor hears Rockford moaning and tells the nurse, "500 cc of adrenaline, stat!" This is roughly 1 US pint and not at all an appropriate dose of such a drug.
When Jim leaves to meet Sandra at the cafe, she says, "No dill." In the luncheon scene later, she is eating a dill pickle.
When Jim and Sandra are stuffing Agent Stoner's unconscious body into the overhead bunk on the train, Stoner raises and lowers his head for comfort.
Sandra wants to know where Doctor Kenilworth previously practiced. Jim says he practiced in Chicago, pointing to a diploma from the University of Chicago. That shows where he studied, but does not imply that he practiced there.
