James Garner and Trisha Noble in The Rockford Files (1974)

Goofs

Never Send a Boy King to Do a Man's Job

The Rockford Files

Edit

Continuity

Richie's Mustang has license plate 965-OKK. The Stutz kit car Jimmy Joe Meeker drives also has license plate 965-OKK.

Factual errors

Rockford is pulling a sting in LA, and a scene takes place at the Egyptian embassy. But embassies to the US are in Washington, DC. Therefore, it would have been more appropriate for the plaque to have said "Egyptian Consulate".

Miscellaneous

Jim tells Richie he has a clothes line. We've never seen one. Or a washing machine for that matter. Possibly Jim does his laundry at Rocky's, who may have a clothes line.
Richie's Mustang doesn't have any chrome (horse or the corral) in its grill.

Character error

Jim wonders if Odette speaks Egyptian. Egyptians speak Arabic; Egyptian is not a language per se. Odette then claims not to speak Egyptian, but Urdo, as though it were a related language (Urdo is only spoken in South Asia and South Africa).
