Hector Elizondo in The Rockford Files (1974)

Goofs

A Good Clean Bust with Sequel Rights

The Rockford Files

Edit

Continuity

In a highway driving scene, at approximately 28:17, Rockford is driving a 1974 model (with single headlights) of his ubiquitous golden brown Pontiac Firebird, but just seconds later, at 28:25, as he is pulling into the parking area of his destination, inexplicably he is now driving a 1978 model (with dual headlights) of the same color Pontiac Firebird Esprit.

Revealing mistakes

During the bar fight, Falcone shoves one of the thugs against a wall, the wall shakes violently. Rockford pulls himself up with a stair rail, the rail shakes. Both the wall and rail are flimsy props.
As Rocky's watching the opening sequence of the Falcone TV show, not one of the names of the show's cast or crew is shown on the screen, resembling a studio demo.

Crew or equipment visible

As the women from the A.A.A. are being lead away, a piece of equipment is pulled away from in front of Falcone.

Boom mic visible

(at around 44 mins) Boom mic shadow seen as Jim is walking from the car to the front door.
