• [first scene: Jake Robin walks through a park. He passes near a sign "Lyme's restaurant deliveries" and enters a back alley. He kneels over a manhole grate, unwraps a chewing gum, drops the wrapping into the grate and starts chewing the gum. Several wrappings are stuck in the edges of the grate. He stands up and takes off his sunglasses. Suddenly he spots someone. He walks toward the other person] 

  Jake Robin : [angrily]  What the hell are you doing? You thought I wouldn't find out? What's going on?

  [the other person shoots Jake, killing him. A woman, who is standing nearby and smoking a cigarette, witnesses the murder. She quickly slips away]
