When Col Wilcox tries to justify the actions, he says that we have to understand what was happening in October 1962. Steve and Cahill were taken 10/11/62, but the United States did not first discover the Cuban missiles until 10/14/62.
At roughly 1/5 if the way into the program when Sam and Quincy arrive at the Yomoshiras' house, the license plate on the front of his Coroner's (Ford) station wagon can be seen and reads [E]999853, which is the same as the license plate on most of the Coroner's (AMC Matador) station wagons used in prior seasons.
At 3/4 of the way into the program, when the Captain (played by Logan Ramsey) is questioning Dr. Taylor, the name "Fine" can clearly be seen his uniform's name tag. This can also be seen a couple of minutes later when he is denying to the court that an interrogation took place.
When Jim Dolen is describing holding Steve, he says it's 15 weeks, but the dates are from 10/11/62-12/20/62 which is 70 days, and hence 10 weeks.
