Some nice acting talent for this story. John Neville plays Charlie, a cockney crook who has abducted Paul and and bound him with a bomb.
Harry and Caroline mus steal a valuable cross that they are hired to protect and move by mogul Gregor Kofax (Peter Bowles.)
He seems to trust The Protectors with his valuables, which is more than the local detective (Del Henney) who thinks protecting them should be left to the cops.
With Paul trying to escape, Harry and Contessa Caroline di Contini need to save Paul and protect the cross.
This is a literal triple cross. Harry Rule leaves no stone uncrossed, but despite Neville plays a wide boy badguy. There can only be one other villain left in this type of set up.
