Ed Asner plays Frank Moran in this installment of "Police Story". He's only three days from his 30 year retirement but the Captain (Dabney Coleman) asks him to help with a big assignment. Some big-time crooks have come to town and they obviously are planning something big...and they need help doing surveillance on these bad men and Moran agrees to help. But, even on the day of his retirement, Moran can't let it go. Will he live to see his retirement?
Anything with Ed Asner in it is worth seeing...and he's excellent here. Well worth seeing and a very good episode about an incredibly dedicated cop.
