Most TV guides give this as the last episode to be telecast. The ratings, already horrendous against ABC's Starsky and Hutch (1975), fell even further against the CBS mid-season entry The Blue Knight (1975). NBC simply yanked the show without explanation and "ate" the three remaining episodes, running first a mini-series called McNaughton's Daughter (1976) and then reruns of Burt Reynolds' Hawk (1966) series in an effort to win at least a few viewers.
