- Peter Gunn: What's so ridiculous about $100,000 worth of jewels?
- Lieutenant Jacoby: Inside a seal. Here why don't you carry this a while?
- Peter Gunn: You might need it for evidence.
- Lieutenant Jacoby: A sackful of fish is not evidence.
- Peter Gunn: [laughs] No, but it's pretty good seal bait.
- Lieutenant Jacoby: You're laughing.
- Peter Gunn: [laughs] I'm sorry.
- Lieutenant Jacoby: I don't know why I let you talk me into this.
- Peter Gunn: Me talk you into...
- Lieutenant Jacoby: If anybody would've told me that I'd be in a railway station at 4:30 in the morning looking for a seal, I wouldn't believe it. I'm here and I still don't believe it.
- Peter Gunn: [laughing] I know what you mean.
- Lieutenant Jacoby: [Peter brings Timothy into his office, gets up to close the door] You raised in a barn?
