At the hearing, Kramer introduces a blow-up of a frame of the home movie shown earlier at Amy Reid's house. (It is claimed that Burger viewed the movie at the hearing for background purposes, but that is never shown.) The blow-up shows Maxine taking off her sunglasses and turning toward the camera. But she doesn't do that in the home movie as it is shown earlier. She is still walking away from the camera as the movie cuts to another clip. Further, the blow-up is at a different camera angle from the images in the home movie.
Maxine Nichols steals some jewels from the safe that is behind the portrait on the wall. When she opens the safe door you can see no locking mechanisms on the side of the safe that secures the door closed.
The safe Maxine Nichols opens has door hinges placed outside of it, which would be easy to break off.
When Mrs. Forrest is driving down the road in her Thunderbird, the scene is sped up to make it seem like she is speeding.
