Love finds Parker and makes a few changes along the way
vex86bird28 June 2007
With the Parker Lewis episodes the ones where the guys 'fall in love' turn out to be the more boring ones. It's funny at least here when you see the transformation of Parker into the slick-back haired guy he becomes, but not so funny when Parker bails on the buds. I'll at least say that Parker's love interest is quite good looking so It's not a complete loss :). Parker's replacement was a funny choice as well. Larry Kubiac proved to be a weird change-up as Parker is slender and sly and Kubiac is polar opposite. So Basically not much happened in this episode so I wouldn't put it up there in the top PLCL episodes. There weren't many subtle jokes in this episode or cameo appearances either. Hrmm.

Buds

Warning: Spoilers
Splendor in the Class was a very poignant episode where Parker really falls in love (or a crush) with Haley Madison, played by April Lerman. In some ways, Haley was the precursor to Annie Sloan (played by Jennifer Guthrie) being Parker's Plus one in season two and beyond. The ending was quite moving, with Haley engineering the buds coming back together and uniting to protect Parker from the wrath of Ms Musso. Anyway, one hilarious scene was the Musso hand being in Parker's sleeve when Frank Lemmer was searching him, and I still laugh to this day.

I'm enjoying re-watching Parker Lewis Can't Lose.
