The Outer Limits (1963)

Goofs

Tourist Attraction

The Outer Limits

Edit

Continuity

As the dam collapses, it has arch designs on the surface, but moments earlier the dam face is seen having a smooth surface with no designs.

Factual errors

The line attributed to Percy Shelley, "Here lies your tyrant who would rule the world immortal" does not occur in the sonnet Ozymandias nor in any other work by Percy Shelley or by his wife Mary Shelley.

Revealing mistakes

The cut made to the freezer door was already made before the creature started cutting.
A dozen people enter the freezing room, yet not one of them exhales frosty breath.
When Dexter and Lynne drive in the open top car, they move fast enough to make the tires squeal but Lynne's hair does not move in the wind.

Crew or equipment visible

During the underwater scenes, a diver's mask can be seen in the creature's mouth.

Plot holes

The fish creatures live only in warm waters along the equator, yet down the centuries they retain the needless ability to survive being frozen.
