Tone Hobart starts up the hypnotic spinning toy and stares at it, but in the next shot at 43:37 it is spinning much faster without him touching it again.
Leonora spins the ballerina toy counter-clockwise, but in a close-up shot at 22:56, after Tone enters the room, it spins clockwise. A few shots later, it spins even faster than before.
At 13:33 as Leonora runs through the trees to get back to the car, you can visibly see the wire above the trunk waiting to pull it open as she gets to the back of the Rolls Royce. Slowly the trunk is pulled open by the wire to reveal an empty boot space.
